This kit comes with Arduino UNO compatible board, UNO R3 Compatible with CH340. As most shields and libraries are based on UNO, it is the best board to learn the Arduino ecosystem. It is fully compatible with the original Arduino UNO R3 (except for USB to UART chip – CH340), so all shields, examples, and sketches for Arduino UNO R3 are applicable on this board.

Now, with this comprehensive beginner kit which includes the famous UNO R3 compatible as the main controller. All the applications and projects you want can be done with this set. This kit is suitable for:

  • Engineering students: Controller and Electronics are must-have topics in all engineering courses, Electronics, Mechanical, or even Civil Engineering. This kit is perfect for you to understand the basics of controllers, electronics, sensors, actuators, and programming.
  • Teachers: Perfect for student-teacher projects.
  • Electronic enthusiasts: Kickstart your next project utilizing all the components in this kit.
  • Robot Builders: All the sensors and actuators are suitable for robotics.
  • Software Engineers: Arduino will be an excellent platform for establishing interfaces on the computer to receive data from the outside world and for communication applications.
This kit does not include lessons but there are many available for free on YouTube. Examples are at bottom of the page.

About Arduino

Arduino is an open-source physical computing platform based on a simple i/o board and a development environment that implements the Processing/Wiring language. Arduino can be used to develop stand-alone interactive objects or can be connected to software on your computer (e.g. Flash, Processing, MaxMSP). The open-source IDE can be downloaded for free (currently support Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux).
