Description
Proximity switch is a non-contact object detection device, when the measured object is close to its working face and reaches a certain distance, whether the detection object is moving or stationary, the proximity switch will automatically send out the object close and “action” signal, unlike the mechanical stroke switch that requires mechanical collision. The inductive head of the inductive proximity switch is an inductor with a ferrite core, which generates an alternating magnetic field on the surface of the inductive head. When the metal block approaches the inductive head, the eddy current generated in the metal absorbs the energy of the oscillation, so that the
oscillation is weakened and even the vibration is stopped.
