Printing Tips
- Use a textured PEI sheet for best results — it grips during printing and releases cleanly once cooled. If printing on glass, apply a thin layer of glue stick as a release agent.
- Set your first layer speed to 15–20 mm/s and keep the nozzle slightly higher than you would for PLA.
- PETG strings more than PLA due to its low viscosity. Lower the nozzle temp by 5°C and increase retraction (5–7mm Bowden / 2–4mm Direct Drive) until clean.
- Keep the cooling fan at 20–50% — too much weakens layer bonding.
- Store your spools sealed with the included desiccant when not in use. If exposed to humidity, dry at 55–65°C for 4–6 hours before printing.
- Different colours can behave slightly differently — print a temperature tower with each new colour to dial in the best settings.
